Green, Defense Focused on Daniels

Florida DE William Green didn't play as much as he would have liked to against Miami (OH) but he feels good about what the Florida defense did in the first game. Green said this week will be spent working on getting even more physical and focusing on a strong USF offense with B.J. Daniels at its helm.

William Green said D-line coach Dan McCarney has great trust in his linemen and hopes to have both Green and Duke Lemmens join Justin Trattou as champions next week.

Green knows his defensive counterparts will continue to work hard this week. He said they won't settle despite a good performance against Miami (OH) because they know USF will bring a more prolific offense. They will spend ample time in the film room scouting out Bulls QB B.J. Daniels who they have given the nickname "Little Vick" after NFL QB Michael Vick. Green spoke with FOX sports' Laura McKeeman about his thoughts on game 1 and what he expects in game 2. Recommended Stories
