It was the end of the first quarter and Florida
was looking for some points. Jelani Jenkins
picked off LSU
signal caller Jordan Jefferson
to record his first interception of his career. He returned the ball 47 yards and became the sixth Gator this season to grab an interception.
Florida linebacker Jelani Jenkins came away with pick against the LSU Tigers, and while it was enough to swing the momentum Florida's way for a short time, it wasn't enough to save Florida from a home loss. Jenkins said he isn't even sure what went wrong against LSU's offense. He said his team has to pick itself up and not use youth as an excuse for poor performance.
