Thompson Sought Redemption Against Georgia

Wide receiver Deonte Thompson looked at the Florida/Georgia game as a chance for redemption. He knew he didn't put up a good performance against Mississippi State with key drops that could have led to points on Florida's scoreboard. Thompson felt much better about his showing against Georgia as he came away with two receptions for 36 yards.

One of those catches was a key 21-yard gain that is certainly one of Deonte Thompson's career-best.

Thompson said his impressive 21-yard catch against Georgia is in his top 5 all time. He feels good about what he was able to do for his team and hopes to continue playing at a high level and with consistency. Thompson also talked about quarterback John Brantley's trust in him and their continued QB/WR relationship despite some drops by Thompson.
