Florida coaches and players met with the media Tuesday to further discuss the win over Georgia and to take some time to look forward towards this weekend's Vandy matchup.
Offensive coordinator
Steve Addazio
profiled the hurry-up offnse and talked about why
Oregon
does it so well. He said UF is completely immersed in the hurry-up idea, however, and will continue this way in the future.
Offensive lineman
Carl Johnson
talked about some advantages this quick play style brings to the field for
Florida
and says he thinks they should have implemented it a while back.
D-line coach
Dan McCarney
discussed the need for improved pass defense with an emphasis on third down and said he is seeing improvement from some of his freshmen.
Offensive lineman
Jon Halapio
is back after a finger injury that had his bone exposed and subjected him to "some of the worst pain" of his life. Halapio talked about making improvements and embracing more starting time than he was expecting.
FOX Sports' Laura McKeeman has it all right here for you. Watch to hear from Dan McCarney, Carl Johnson and Jon Halapio.
