Rainey's Return Impressing his Teammates

We heard from some veterans at Monday's press conference. Let's start with center Mike Pouncey who talked about Chris Rainey's return to the team. Pouncey said Rainey has really turned his attitude around and is ready to take this "second chance" and run with it...literally.

Michael Pouncey also made a point to reiterate what Urban Meyer said before him, reminding us that John Brantley is "The" quarterback.

Speaking of Brantley, he maintained his easy-going mentality about sharing snaps with Trey Burton and Jordan Reed. Brantley said he understands the value to having those guys in the mix and adding further dimension to an offense that needed a spark.

Ahmad Black was last but certainly not least. Black also discussed Rainey's return and said he has been impressed with his teammate and friend. Black went on to talk about Florida's defensive performance against Vanderbilt saying they knew what they wanted to stop and they stopped it causing 10 Vandy three-and-outs. Black also previewed the matchup between South Carolina receiver Alshon Jeffery and Janoris Jenkins.
