Quinn Needs Better Run Defense

The Florida offense has had their issues in the last week and understandably so with injuries at quarterback. Gators fans watched the team last week get dismantled by LSU and had to wonder what happened to the rush defense that was a staple in the first four games of the season and one of the top ranked in the country during that time. Defensive coordinator Dan Quinn knows it needs to improve.

Two weeks ago Florida faced a serious running game in Alabama and the Tide brought their A-game tallying 226 yards on the way to a 38-10 romp. Last week, the Gators traveled to LSU where the Tigers racked up 253 yards rushing and ran up 41 points on their way to maintaining their status as the number one team in the country.
