Brantley Wants to Finish Strong

John Brantley has certainly had his ups and downs throughout his career at Florida. This season has had no shortage of struggles for the senior quarterback, namely an ankle injury that had him sidelined for two full games, and at less than one hundred percent for others. After falling to South Carolina 12-17 Saturday, the Gators have a losing record in the SEC (3-5) for the first time since 1986.

Brantley says they can't dwell on that. "You never want to lose, but those games where they're closer at the end are pretty tough on you, because you know you've done enough to get to that point to put you in the position to win, but there's always those one or two plays that cost you the game, and that's hard to swallow," John Brantley said.
