Isaiah Ford has some lofty numbers for a sophomore and projects to be a big time collegiate prospect in the future. The 2014 receiver, has some special skills and talked to Scout.com about his young high school career so far.
Trinity Christian head coach Verlon Dorminey has coached some big time players in his 20+ years at the school. He says that Ford has a good chance to be one of the best.
"Isaiah is special," Dorminey said from his office in Jacksonville, Florida when asked about Ford. "He is a great receiver, has an incredible vertical, and he can run well. He is a great basketball player and averages about 23 points a game. He doesnât fear anything. He is also one of the best leaders on this team for him to only be a tenth grader.
"He has the chance to be the best receiver that has ever played for me. He caught 41 balls for almost 800 yards this year as a sophomore."
We caught up with Ford for this brief introductory interview.
