An arrest report obtained by the Gainesville Sun stated that A.C. Leonard
was arguing with a woman he is dating and living with. He allegedly pushed the woman to the ground. She hit her head on a dog cage during her fall.
Leonard said in the report that he never hit her and "just wanted her to leave."
The tight end is the tenth Florida player arrested since Will Muschamp took over as the Florida head coach. Leonard caught eight passes for 99 yards during his freshman season.
"Coach Muschamp is currently traveling and unavailable, but he will address the matter later today," said a UF spokesman.
Florida sophomore tight end AC Leonard was arrested on Wednesday night on a domestic battery charge.
