Although it is still early in the process, Patrick already has scholarship offers from Florida, Florida State, Miami, UCF, and Auburn. Unsurprisingly, those five schools are not the only schools that are expressing interest in the 6-foot-1, 210-pound freshman.
"I'm receiving interest from mostly every top program in the country," he said.
Right now, Patrick is not letting the immense amount of interest go to his head. Instead, the young running back is focusing on the aspects of his life that he can control.
"It's really just an honor to have five offers as a freshman. It just tells me that I'm working hard and that I have to work even harder to get more," he said.
In an attempt to learn more about football and the schools that are recruiting him, Patrick plans to attend a few camps this summer.
"I'll probably go to camp at UF, FSU, Miami, and Alabama," he said.
Obviously, Patrick is already receiving a lot of attention. In his remaining three years of high school, he will continue to catch the eyes of college coaches across the country. As he improves, his chances of reaching the next level will only increase.
