The Winter Garden, Fla. native is eighth all-time at UF with 2,470 yards rushing on 367 carries and 23 rushing touchdowns.
Demps owns the fastest times in the NCAA both indoors and outdoors this season, as he ran a new personal best of 6.52 in the preliminaries of the men's 60 meters at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Championships. Outdoors, the senior sprinter ran 10.01 (+2.9) at the 2012 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in March.
His dedication to both of his teams, as well as his commitment to nutrition and wellness, earned Demps the title of CPSDA Muscle Milk® Athlete of the Year. Demps will receive a plaque and will earn the honor to choose either a school or charitable organization to which he may award a $1,000 donation.
