The New England Patriots have locked up versatile tight end Aaron Hernandez for the next several years with a contract extension, a league source confirmed. Working in tandem with Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski, Hernandez has caught 124 career passes for 1,473 yards and 13 touchdowns.
