make no mistake about it SEC and gator fans. When the SEC set out to attract new programs into the nation's best conference the blue print was in College Station, Texas. Unlucky for Florida, they have to be the first team to travel to the hostile confines of Kyle Field in what should be one heck of a hard hitting and emotional game from both sides.

The Florida Gators would like to feel a lot better about themselves after a lackluster performance last week at home against Bowling Green. If they are going to feel good after this weekend, they will do heading into a lot of unknown.

There is a lot of mystery about Texas A&M after they had to reschedule their opener last week due to Hurricane Isaac. Everyone expects a high scoring passing attack from head coach Kevin Sumlin and company, but much like the Aggies coming to the SEC, Sumlin is in his first year of heading up the program. The Gators will have to do a little guessing to start the game, but they know Sumlin will have his team throwing the ball.

Florida on the other hand hopes that the Aggies are just as confused, A somewhat stagnant offense a week ago against an opponent that Florida should have dominated is not what the Gator staff wanted to let loose in this early 2012 season. they say changes are coming, and that is expected, but how much can they really deviate from what we saw on the field a week ago. That is the big mystery with this Gator club right now after they at least settled on a new starting quarterback in sophomore Jeff Driskel.

Florida must fight off the worries of traveling on the road and far away. A large contingent of Gators fans will be in attendance but will be dwarfed by "The 12th Man", the legendary home crowd at Kyle Field in College Station.

The pageantry in Aggie land is as good as anywhere and an awesome fit for the conference. The game and atmosphere should be electric.

below you will find everything we have written in the last five days about this first conference meeting between the two schools.
