Over half of the opponents Florida will play during 2013 made the NCAA Tournament last season.
To help build some confidence for the young players, the Gators will play at home during 20 of their first 22 games. Those first two road games will be at UCF on February 19 and at Jacksonville on March 5.
The Gators open the season against Duke from February 15-17. After playing a weekend series in Gainesville last year, Florida Gulf Coast makes another trip to Gainesville from February 22-24.
The key out of conference series occurs when Miami makes the trip to Gainesville March 1-3. Indiana makes a trip to Gainesville for a weekend series during the final out of conference weekend of the season on March 8-10.
Kentucky comes to Gainesville to open the SEC slate on March 15-17. The first time the Gators hit the road for more than one game comes March 22-24 for a series at Vanderbilt.
Florida will alternate home and road conference series throughout the remainder of SEC play.
The Gators will make the trip to face Missouri during the Tigers’ first season as an SEC program from April 19-21.
The SEC Tournament will take place May 21-26 while the NCAA Tournament starts with Regionals from May 31-June 3 and Super Regionals from June 7-10. The College World Series will take place June 15-26.
The Gators open fall practice on October 7.
