Gators Preparing for LSU

The Gators have their chance to see where they stack up with one of the best teams in the country on October 6. The LSU Tigers come to town for Florida's biggest game of the early season. LSU didn't look sharp in a 12-10 win over Auburn on September 22, but the Gators are preparing for one of the best defenses in the country. It's a defense that shut down what Florida wanted to do last year.

"They're good," said offensive coordinator Brent Pease, noting that it's ‘absolutely' a chance for Florida to see how good it is. "This is a defining moment to see where we're at and how well we've got to play." Florida has already played important conference games against Texas A&M and Tennessee.
