Scout.com caught up with cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III as he arrived in Orlando yesterday for the 2013 ESPN Under Armour All America game. Hargreaves talked about the importance of playing in this game and the bond he has with his fellow Gator commitments.
"You know it's a great experience. It's going to be a good experience I am going to have a lot of fun competing against the best. I dont even know what to say. It's going to be a lot of fun. I am looking forward to playing against the best."
This group of Gator commitments has a special bond.
"I feel like I have known those guys for three years but I met them a month ago. I am excited to be out here with those guys."
Defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson has laid out the game plan for Hargreaves once he arrives in Gainesville.
"Coach Robinson said I am starting at corner and if I can play receiver I will play receiver and if I can't then I can't. I think I am pretty smart when I get out there with alignments and things like that as well as my ball ability if the ball is in the air I am going to go get it and I want to get faster."
