Eight Florida seniors named to All-Star games

The Gators will have eight seniors play in All-Star games across the country. Three Florida players will play in the Senior Bowl while three others go to the East-West Shrine Game. Two more seniors will play in the Casino Del Sol Game.

Linebacker Jon Bostic, running back Mike Gillislee and offensive tackle Xavier Nixon will play in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on January 26. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network at 4 p.m.

Safety Josh Evans, linebacker Lerentee McCray and kicker Caleb Sturgis will play in the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Fla., on January 19. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network at 4 p.m.

Wide receivers Frankie Hammond and Omarius Hines will play in the Casino Del Sol Game on January 11. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. and be shown on ESPN3. It's the second annual game and produced six NFL draft picks in 2012. There were also 61 players from the roster that joined teams in training camp.
