Grayson down to two

Marquez Grayson is one of the top uncommitted senior prospects in North Carolina. The Lexington (N.C.) running back is now down to two schools.

Signing Day is less than a month away. Although Marquez Grayson has not made his decision, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound running back is getting close.

"I'm down to two schools –Wake Forest and N.C. State," he said. "Wake Forest is No.1 and N.C. State is No. 2. More than likely, I'm going to take official visits to both. I haven't set them up yet, though."

Many people felt it was only a matter of time before he committed to Wake Forest, but the new N.C. State coaching has let him know that they are still interested.

"I haven't talked to the new staff at N.C. State, but my coach talked to them on Wednesday," Grayson said. "They told him their offer is still good."

He does not have a set date for a decision.

"I'm not sure when I will make my decision, I'm working on it," he said
