Purifoy was fourth on the team with 51 tackles last season. He had five pass breakups and forced a team-high three fumbles, while tying for the team lead with two recoveries. Purifoy also added a tackle for a loss.
After Muschamp’s press conference to address the 2013 signing class on Wednesday, the Florida head coach told some reporters that Purifoy would practice at wide receiver during spring practice.
