Gators wrap up first day of spring

There isn't much changing this year during spring practice. With Dan Quinn gone, D.J. Durkin is taking over as the defensive coordinator, but the scheme is the same, and offensive coordinator Brent Pease is also back. For the first time under head coach Will Muschamp, there isn't much changing for the Gators. That allowed the first day to be spent focusing on the fundamentals.

"Good to see from the standpoint of guys teaching fundamentals and technique as opposed to scheme," Will Muschamp said after Wednesday's practice. The players spent Wednesday's practice in shorts without hitting, but it was more about focusing on the fundamentals and the basics of the game.
