Orlando NFTC: Offensive Preview

WR Artavis Scott

The NIKE Football Training Camp Tour continues and the next stop is Orlando, Florida. The Sunshine State is loaded with talent and plenty of solid prospects are expected to show up and compete. Here's a look at the standouts expected on the offensive side of the ball.

Many of the state's top offensive linemen are expected to compete and Mason Cole is certainly one to keep an eye on. The four-star offensive tackle of East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL) recently committed to Michigan.

Another four-star tackle expected to perform is Deland's Ben Knox. Knox was practically unknown a few weeks ago before committed to Florida and now ranks 33rd in the nation at his position.

Last year at this camp, St. Pete Catholic's Reilly Gibbons competed at tight end. The 6-foot-6, 268-pound standout has since moved to offensive tackle and has racked up more offers than he can even keep track of at this point. Look for a strong showing in the trenches from Gibbons.

Standing out at offensive guard is Tampa Catholic's Corey Martinez. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound lineman has more than 20 offers and is FOX Sports NEXT's number 14 guard overall.

Former Michigan commitment Denzel Ward is expected to be in attendance as well. The 6-foot-8, 290-pound tackle moved from Illinois down to IMG Academy in Bradenton.

Standing out at the quarterback position is Ward's IMG teammate, Michael O'Connor. Originally from Ontario, Canada, O'Connor has since moved to sunny Florida to play at IMG Academy. The 6-foot-5, 205-pound signal-caller has a handful of offers and he's just getting started.

Tampa (FL) Wharton's Chase Litton is another 2014 quarterback prospect to keep an eye on. The 3-star has offers from LSU, South Florida, and Western Michigan.

In the 2015 class, keep an eye on First Coast (Jacksonville, FL) standout quarterback Deandre Johnson. The 6-foot, 170-pound athlete is committed to Florida State.

Plenty of talented wide receivers are expected to be in attendance in Orlando and East Lake's Artavis Scott is likely to impress. The 6-foot, 175-pound, four-star receiver has many big-time programs after his skills.

Ryeshene Bronson is another four-star receiver to keep an eye on. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Dunbar (Fort Myers, FL) standout was the first Florida commitment in the 2014 class.

Two 2015 standouts who are sure to perform are East Lake's George Campbell and Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL) athlete John Burt. Many know the name George Campbell, who has a nice and impressive offer list already. John Burt has been less publicized but is another name to know. He has a handful of big offers including Ohio State and Florida State.

A few other pass-catchers will be on hand in the tight end group, headlined by Milan Richard. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound standout will head south to Orlando from Calvary Baptist Day School in Savannah, Georgia. Richard has a double-digit offer list.

Other tight ends expected to attend are Eastside's Seth Brown, Vanguard's Elkanah Dillon, Lake Wales' Davion Riley, West Port's Max Linder, West Orange's Kyle Griffitts and one of South Carolina's finest in Sean Smith.

At the running back position, there aren't any big names on the roster, but plenty of guys are looking to make a name for themselves. Charles Neslon is certainly a name to know. The 2014 running back of Seabreeze (Daytona Beach, FL) is very athletic and has several programs after him.

More of a sleeper is Madison County (Madison, FL) standout Deonshay Wells. Wells may be overlooked because of his size, but the 5-foot-9, 165-pound back is fast.

Scout will also be keeping an eye on Raines' Alex Gardner, Bishop Kenny's Cameron Singletary, and Manatee's Trevon Walters.
