Gators finish season at No. 9

Florida came in at No. 9 in the final Coaches' Poll of the season that was released on Tuesday. The Gators finished in the top 10 of the poll for the third straight year.

Florida finished the season with a 29-8 record and a 14-4 mark in Southeastern Conference play. The 29 wins are tied for the third most in program history. The program earned its sixth SEC title and fourth outright.

National champion Louisville earned the No. 1 spot in the rankings, followed by Michigan, Syracuse, Wichita State and Duke to round out the top five. The remaining teams ahead of Florida were Ohio State, Indiana and Kansas. Miami finished at No. 10.

No other SEC team finished in the top 25 of the poll. Florida Gulf Coast came in at No. 25. Recommended Stories
