Video: Gators rout Vols for series opener

Florida ignited a season-high three home runs Friday night to stab a 7-2 victory against SEC East rival Tennessee. The Gators flexed four freshmen pitchers, holding the Vols scoreless through eight innings.

Work on the hill from hurlers Danny Young, Aaron Rhodes, Parker Danciu and Tucker Simpson puts Florida at an advantage moving into the final two games of the series with preserved veteran arms.

The series opener’s home run hitters Taylor Gushue, Casey Turgeon and Justin Shafer join coach Kevin O’Sullivan to discuss the SEC win in the video below.
