The Gators capped off their non-conference schedule on top Tuesday night. Florida rallied for a 7-1 home victory against Florida Atlantic allowing only one hit to register a season-low for the orange and blue.

Florida's starting left-handed pitcher Bobby Poyner hurled a career-long six innings versus the Owls. Fellow pitchers Danny Young, Ryan Harris and Johnny Magliozzi emerged from the bullpen and polished off the contest for Florida retiring the final 13 batters.

UF’s stacked at-bats in the fifth tied the game at one run and the Gators exited the inning with six on the board. Florida sealed the deal in the seventh with an additional run, eventually closing the game at a final 7-1 score.
