Adams Picks Missouri

The Missouri Tigers have dipped down into the state of Tennessee once again to pick up a verbal commitment for their 2014 football recruiting class, as OL Paul Adams has verbally committed to the Tigers.

OT Paul Adams 6'6" 270 Nashville (TN) Christ Presbyterian Academy has given Missouri a verbal commitment.

Adams, a 3-star rated prospect, confirmed to that he chose Mizzou tonight. Adams mentioned that the Tigers were at the top of his list of schools following the spring game.

"(My Missouri visit) was great! It was huge! I mean, I want to say it was better than the first (one)," said Adams. "But I mean, it just matched it just as well. My mom came with me this time, so she got to look around and we talked to all of the coaches and build a relationship with them. I feel like I got to know the coaches really well. I feel like it was a little better than the first (visit), just because my mom got to experience it. That's a big thing because she wants me to feel comfortable in a place, and she said that I looked happy. And, she said that she felt welcomed into the Missouri community."

He also mentioned playing with Thomas Richard in college at the time.

Thomas (Richard) and I have always said that we wanted to play together (in college)," explained Adams.

We'll have Adams full thoughts on his decision coming soon.

He becomes Missouri's 10th known commitment so far for 2014, and their third from Tennessee. Recommended Stories
