June 25 marks the date that the rest of the 2013 recruiting class steps on campus as Gators for the first time. We continue our march to that date with a quick update from one of the more quiet prospects in terms of the media, but a real force when it came to helping complete this class. Nick Washington of Jacksonville Trinity Christian will play two sports at Florida.

Q. What are you most looking forward to showing up on campus at UF?

Nick Washington: Just getting on campus with my boys and getting to work.

Q. Muschamp mentioned you starting out at corner / nickel instead of safety, what are your thoughts there?

Nick Washington: Either or, I don't care which one I'm just ready to go.

Q. What kind of things have you been working on physically in preparation for showing up? Also what do you consider your strengths and weaknesses?

Nick Washington: I've just been getting bigger stronger and faster. I can always get faster and become smarter.

Q. Talk about the recruiting class and the guys you really worked on over time to be a part of it? What are the strengths of this class that you helped so much with?

Nick Washington: I think we have an outstanding class this year. And I'm not gonna say too much… we all put in a good effort in recruiting this year

Q. How about a personal goal for year one for yourself and then maybe what you hope to achieve while at Florida?

Nick Washington: To get on the field and play as a freshman and become the best player I can be.

Q. What is the situation with you and baseball heading into all of it?

Nick Washington: I will be playing both football and baseball.
