Two more UF players named to watch lists

Two more Florida players were named to award watch lists early this week. Florida punter Kyle Christy was named to the watch list for the Ray Guy Award on Tuesday while Jonotthan Harrison was named to the watch list for the Rimington Award.

Kyle Christy was one of three finalists for the Ray Guy Award in 2012. Christy finished second in school history with a 44.3 yards per punt average last season as a sophomore. He set a school record for single game punt average against South Carolina, averaging 54.3 yards per punt.

Christy is one of four semifinalists and the only semifinalist from 2012 to be named to the watch list, which consists of 25 punters from across the country.

Jonotthan Harrison was named to the watch list for the Rimington Award, given to the top center in college football. This is the second year in a row that Harrison was included in the watch list for the award.

Harrison is a fifth-year senior that has played in 39 career games at Florida, including 27 starts. Phil Steele's placed Harrison on his preseason All-SEC Third Team this summer.
