More Trouble For Hernandez
— Massachusetts SEARCH WARRANTS: Eight search warrants sought information from Hernandez's cell phones; the video surveillance system from his North Attleborough home; biological evidence in the house and grounds; the contents of his Patriots' locker; firearms, ammunition and related documents; and evidence in three cars connected to Hernandez: a 2012 Nissan Altima, a 2013 Chrysler, and a 2005 Hummer. The related documents cover at least 156 pages.
— ENCOUNTER WITH POLICE: Police said Hernandez approached officers he noticed parked outside his home the night of June 17. They said he answered their questions about an SUV he said he rented for Lloyd, then became "argumentative" and locked the door behind him. When he returned with his attorney's business card, Hernandez was told by police they were conducting a death investigation. Police said he did not ask who had died. He later agreed to be questioned at the police station.
— HERNANDEZ'S GIRLFRIEND: Police said Hernandez's girlfriend, Shayanna Jenkins, burst into tears when they told her Lloyd was dead. She told them she had last seen him two days earlier, June 15. She said she and Hernandez returned home early from a Father's Day dinner June 16, and Hernandez later went out again but she didn't know who he was with. Police said Hernandez then called her cellphone and stopped her from talking without a lawyer.
