Sherrod Pittman checks in at 6-foot-1 and just under 220-pounds. The Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast high school standout will bring his talents to the Swamp for Florida's Friday Night Light's on July 26th. Florida, Florida State, Miami and Ohio State could be in a battle to land the talented middle linebacker. Pittman, who was a onetime Seminole lean, now appears to be a battle of the "Big Three" in Florida between the Seminoles, Gators and Hurricanes.
First Coast was kind last year for Florida head coach Will Muschamp and the Gators as they landed linebacker Daniel McMillian. Will they pull Pittman as well? He talked about what he hopes to accomplish during the camp.
"First off I am looking to show out at the camp and I am looking forward to everything at Florida," Pittman said.
As far as being around his possible future head coach Will Muschamp Pittman has one thing in mind.
"I want to build a better relationship with him."
If Pittman performs the way he expects he could be one to watch on Friday night in the Swamp.
