Friday Night Lights 2013

It has been an evolution of sorts. In its ninth year of existence, Friday Night Lights has evolved from a camp of the current big stars to a camp of the future big tars of recruiting. That isn't to say that some of the biggest names in the 2014 class aren't going to take part in the festivities, but it is far different than when it all started.

The showcase event used to feature a hand full of five-star prospects and dozens of four-star players and it was a chance for them to compete against each other.

In the last few years, big time camps like the Opening and others popped up and took a little glamor off of the latest class, but the gators have adapted.

Now, if you attend or are interested, you will see, read, or hear about a lot of the next class. In this case, we are talking about 2015, the rising juniors among high school ranks. Sprinkle in a few of the top 2016 class, and a dozen or so of the top prospects that the gators would like to sign in February and you have the current version of Florida'S Friday Night Lights.

Below you will find all you need to know about the event before it happens, and then Friday we bring you a live blog as the prospects start showing up on campus.
