As the Gators head into their bye week before Tennessee, they’ll have a new injury to monitor. Florida also knows what time it will take on the Volunteers.

Florida announced early Monday afternoon that quarterback Jeff Driskel suffered a slightly sprained knee in the second quarter of the Miami game. The team announced that he is taking weight off the knee this week as Florida has a bye and “will be ready” for the next game when the Gators host Tennessee on September 21.

Florida will host Tennessee on CBS at 3:30. It was between this game and the Auburn-LSU game, but CBS elected to show Tennessee at Florida, sending Auburn-LSU to a night game on ESPN.
