Adoree Jackson's Last Game
Adoree Jackson (5'10/180) is the No. 5 ranked player in the country by Scout.com regardless of position, and he's a 5-Star player on the field regardless of position. Jackson lines up at cornerback, running back, receiver, and return man for his Serra squad.
Jackson's Serra team played in the CIF-SS Western Division Finals on FOX Sports West last week against a Chaminade team that Serra had beaten 36-0 earlier in the year. Serra fell to Chaminade in the rematch, but it wasn't for a lack of effort by Jackson.
Jackson found the endzone twice on special teams, despite being hobbled by an ankle injury that had a cast removed the morning of the contest. Jackson was still the fastest player on the field, but those of us used to seeing him could tell he was playing in pain. Jackson took heavy steps on the field, where he normally looks like he's gliding.
It was an impressive display of grit, determination, and sheer athleticism as Jackson still had an impressive performance.
Serra's season ended on Friday and now Jackson will focus on recruiting as he's heavily considering teams such as Florida, LSU, USC, and UCLA among others.
Here is a look at him in action courtesy FOX Sports West.
