"We are excited to have Drew join the Gator football program," Will Muschamp said.
The 6-5, 318-pound offensive lineman originally graduated from North Florida Christian in Tallahassee in 2012. Drew Sarvary played in 11 games as a true freshman at Florida A&M, including a road start in a game at Oklahoma.
He spent the 2013 season at Tyler (Texas) Junior College and was named a First Team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference selection. His team went 9-2 and won the Football Capital of Kansas Bowl. Sarvary played on the offensive line that helped the team run for 277.9 yards and 35 touchdowns.
The three-star offensive lineman has been committed to Texas Tech since October but announced the switch on Twitter on Wednesday morning.
“Thankful for all my opportunities but I have decided to sign with the University of Florida,” Sarvary said on Twitter.
