Analyzing the home winning streak

The Gators broke the school record by winning their 25th consecutive home game on Tuesday night. The streak is now the third longest active streak in the country behind only Stephen F. Austin and Duke. Florida won't have a chance to extend it until January 25 against Tennessee, but it made history on Tuesday against Georgia.

The streak previously belonged to Florida's back-to-back national championship teams and was snapped early in the season after they decided to leave for the NBA. During the current 25-game home winning streak, the Gators are averaging wins by a score of 74.2-52.2.
