P.J. Hambrick Talks Gators Junior Day & More

One of the biggest offensive linemen you will come across from the state of Florida for 2015 is P.J. Hambrick. The Leesburg (Fla) First Academy standout recently visited the University of Florida for junior day and liked what he saw.

At 6-foot-5, 335-pounds, P.J. Hambrick is hard to miss in a crowd. The massive offensive tackle prospect had a chance to visit Florida for junior day this past weekend and was very impressed.

"It was fun," P.J. Hambrick said. "Lots of nice people and just lots of enjoyable moments. The environment was great and I met a lot of really nice coaches and beautiful women. I loved the school spirit at the game."

New offensive line coach Mike Summers made sure he spent some one on one time with Hambrick.

"I talked to coach Summers behind closed doors," Hambrick said. "He was talking to me about blocking technique and the proper steps. He wants me to increase my stamina. We talked about tackle and guard. I enjoy tackle but anywhere would be nice to be playing. Coach Summers would like me to come up for camp and it was fun last year and I will do it again. Being in the locker room was the best part, I really liked listening to him explain to me about the academics."

Florida and Mississippi State are the two teams showing the most attention at this time but Florida State and Georgia have both showed interest as well.
