Kingsley Keke has one of the more unique names in all of high school football. He is also a uniquely talented defensive lineman that is being ought after by several top programs.
The Richmond (Tex.) George Ranch defensive lineman drew some praise from head coach Ricky Tullos on Wednesday.
“He’s a real good one,” Coach Tullos said with a laugh. “His size and athleticism is very rare. He’s 6-foot-4 and 280 pounds and runs a 4.8. He’s just a phenomenal athlete and big body. He is our center in basketball and moves well. He is very long and the sky is the limit for him.”
Coach Tullos believes Keke will eventually move inside with his massive frame and can be special with his quickness.
“I think he will be an interior defensive lineman,” said the coach. “He may one day move to the offensive side, it depends on the school’s needs. He could play either one.”
The kid’s off-the-field demeanor has college coaches also very interested.
“He is a great kid, tremendous character,” Coach Tullos said. “A wonderful kid on the field and in the class. He is a real high character kid.”
