Practice observations: Running game (8/8)

The Gators went into full pads for the first time on Friday night, and even though they weren’t hitting at full speed, there was still more contact than on Thursday. This allowed for more actions in the trenches on Friday.

My star of the practice was sophomore running back Kelvin Taylor. Matt Jones is fully healthy and looked good, but the Gators will be hurting their offense if Taylor doesn’t lead the team in carries.
