Javarius Davis is committed to North Carolina, but he is not done with recruiting just yet.

He likely will not put an end to recruiting completely until signing day in February.

"I am still committed to North Carolina, but I am not really worrying about it (Recruiting) right now," said Davis. "I will still take my visits, then announce my final decision on signing day."

The commitment to UNC is still there, but Davis, a versatile athlete out of Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White is not hiding his interest in other schools.

"I still have to look to see what else is out there."

"I am pretty solid to North Carolina and I will be up there for the N.C. State game this season.

"I am still going to take official visits, see other schools, and then make the right decision. I have to just see how everything goes."

Three schools Davis plans to take official visits to are known right now with the other two still up in the air.

Davis will see a bump in his Scout ranking.

No dates are set yet, but the 5-foot-10, 173 pound senior said Michigan, North Carolina, and Michigan will definitely get an official visit from him. Ohio State is another school he is thinking about at this time.

Florida could get one too, but it being closer to home may lead to him only visiting Gainesville, Fla. unofficially. He will be there Saturday when the Gators host Idaho.

"I can get to Florida easily, so I probably won't take an official visit there," said Davis. "I got an offer from Florida this summer and they want me to play wide receiver. I like Florida and I am looking at them."

Florida is in the top three for Davis. UNC, the school he is committed to is No. 1 with USC No. 2.

Although the three-star is committed to the Tar Heels, his recruitment looks to be far from over. UNC wants him as a cornerback and is rated there on Scout, but he could also play wide receiver or safety on the next level.
