Jackson leaning towards Gators

Kyle Jackson is a four-star safety prospect from Neptune Beach (Fla.) Fletcher High School. Jackson was at the Florida game and he comments on the game and some other things. Right now, Jackson is leaning to the Gators.

Neptune Beach (Fla.) Fletcher's Kyle Jackson had a roller coaster of a weekend. His team got knocked out of the playoffs on Friday night as they lost to Jacksonville (Fla.) Forest High School by a field goal. The senior safety finished the year with six interceptions, giving him 15 over the last two seasons. Then, on Saturday, he attended the Florida/ Florida State game, one of the best games of the entire college football season.

"It was fun and it was a great game," Jackson said, "but I didn't like the referees. I have been to Florida before but that was by far the loudest and craziest I can ever remember. I went to the game last season in Tallahassee and that was crazy as well. But not like this."

Rumors have circulated around the Internet that Jackson was involved in the altercation between the Gators and Noles after the game. What does Jackson say about that?

"That's not true because all of the recruits went into the weight room with a minute left in the game. I missed the ending of the game. Someone else asked me about the fight thing. That's not true at all. I didn't even know about the fight until the players came into the locker room afterwards."

For now, Jackson has three official visits lined up - Alabama (12-5), Florida (1-9) and Tennessee (1-16).

"I may take an unofficial to Georgia Tech and I am planning on setting up one with FSU but I am not sure when.

"Right now, Florida is my leader but I am trying to stay open to make sure I make the right decision."

Jackson has only had one in-home visit thus far and that was with Florida's Larry Fedora (WR coach). Jackson is part of TheInsiders.com National Hot 100 and the No. 3 rated safety prospect in the country.
