Florida defensive tackle Marcus Thomas will have surgery done tomorrow.

Coach Zook on Sophomore DT Marcus Thomas: “They’re going to do it (operate - hernia) on Thursday morning. He had something to eat after midnight, so, they couldn’t do it Monday. He came out here (on Tuesday)…it calmed down…and, he tried to go a little bit knowing that they’re going to operate on Thursday. Then, it flared back up again. He’ll be out 3-4 weeks, and will be ready to go.”

Thomas also has an ankle problem and they may do a minor surgery on that as well.
