Sarah Stewart, a recent graduate of the University of Florida, has joined our staff as a feature writer. Sarah is a sports junkie who loves the Gators and college football. She will be writing feature stories about potential recruits, plus in the fall she will be covering the Gators nationally ranked soccer team as well as Florida's volleyball team, which will be a serious contender for the 2005 NCAA championship. Sarah has written for the Sebastian Sun, Press Journal (Verob Beach), Orange & Blue magazine, and the Independent Florida Alligator. She was also a National Merit Scholar, so we're excited to have her join us.
In the next couple of weeks, we'll be announcing some other staff additions to go with our already strong staff of Franz Beard, Bob Redman, Mark McLeod, Larry Vettel, David Shepherd and Brady Ackerman.
We'll also be rolling out several new features including Gator oriented blogs such as We Are The Boys which covers Gator football. We're currently beta testing some new features that will revolutionize the way collegiate sports are covered. We're always breaking new ground for you.
This year Gator Country will cover Florida football and basketball like never before. Our always great recruiting coverage will only be better thanks to our new staffers and our increased coverage from Scout.com, proud sponsors of the US Army All-Ameircan Game in San Antonio, the dream game for every high school football player in the nation. Our increased staff will allow us to cover all Gator sports. Gator Country's goal is that every Florida fan anywhere in the world can turn to our site to find reports and analysis of every Gator game or match. If the Gators play it, no matter the sport, our goal is to be there to give Gator fans the best possible coverage of our Florida teams and athletes..
So, please welcome Matt Zemek back and give a good Gator Country welcome to Sarah Stewart.
