FOOTBALL: First week of practices open to public

The Florida football squad’s first week of practices, which will be held Monday, Aug. 8, through Monday, Aug. 15, will be open to the public. The Gators will hold preseason camp on the Village South Fields at the Southwest Recreational Center on the UF campus. Fans are encouraged to check www.gatorzone.com daily for updates in practice times.

Fans will be permitted to watch practice from the South end of the UVS fields behind the green fence. Fans can enter that area through the Southeast corner gate. Directions to the complex are as follows: Take Lemerand (North-South) towards Archer. At Museum, take a right. Follow Museum until it ends at Hull Road. Make a right onto Hull Road. Make a right onto Bledsoe. Fields are on your left-hand side.
