GAINESVILLE, Fla. * University of Florida defensive back Nick Brooks underwent surgery at the Florida Surgical Center Thursday morning.

The arthroscopic surgery, performed by team physician Dr. Pete Indelicato, corrected cartilage damage in his left knee. Brooks will begin rehabilitation and is expected to return to action in four to six weeks.

Nick Brooks, a 6-0, 197-pound junior from Warner Robins, Ga., had seen action in all four games and had five tackles on the year, including a sack in the season opener versus Wyoming.
