The MacClenny, Fla. native, is involved in Goodwill Gators and is a
Spirit Life Church Speaker. As part of UF's Goodwill Gators program he
has participated in Gator Literacy, where Goodwill Gator
student-athletes visit with elementary school students and share stories
about how much they enjoy reading. A major goal of the program is to
show the children that participating in sports can be a vehicle to
obtaining a college-level education.
Todd McCullough is also active in the Gator Club, a partnership with Shands
Hospital. Every Wednesday, a group of student-athletes visit with
children seeking medical care at the Medical Plaza. Student-athletes
keep the children company in the waiting room (the Gator Room) doing
crafts or watching a movie while they wait for their appointments.
Each week during the SEC football season, Jefferson-Pilot Sports will
highlight a representative of the 2005 SEC Football Good Works Team.
Student-Athletes earn SEC Good Works Team recognition for their
community service and campus activities. The SEC sponsors 16 Good Works
Teams during the season, including one for each sport in the SEC,
combining the indoor and outdoor track & field and cross country teams
into one unit.
