RECRUITING: Hornsby - US Army All-American

The Five Star WR/CB was officially announced to the US Army's All-America team and will join several other Gator commitments in San Antonio for the bowl game on January 7th.

Jamar Hornsby, the #3 ranked wide receiver in the nation by Scout.com, will join a stand-out list of athletes playing in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Hornsby committed to the Florida Gators back on December 15th and has been personally recruiting for the Gators ever since.

The classic East vs. West match-up will be played and televised live on NBC January 7th at 1:00 p.m. (EST) and will feature the top 78 prep football student-athletes in the country.

Hornsby was one of 400 players nominated nationally and one of 78 selected to participate by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Committee.
