RECRUITING: Coach Fenton on QB Garcia

Gator Country was in Tampa to cover Coach Meyer's Gator gathering and made a pit stop over to Jefferson High School. Coach Mike Fenton took a few minutes to chat with us about his star quarterback Stephen Garcia and other top prospects on this year's Jefferson team. He also talked a little bit about Gator signee Trent Pupello who is only a little more than a month away from veing on Florida's campus.

We also caught a bit of highlight practice footage of Garcia who has over 5600 yards passing and 55 touchdowns in two years as the starter for Jefferson. Coaches from South Florida and Nebraska were in attendance to the see the big time signal caller. Urban Meyer and Florida Running Back's Coach Stan Drayton were also on hand although in the shadows watching closely.
