T.J. Lawrence on Gainesville

T.J. Lawrence is one of the most physically gifted wide receivers in the state of Florida. At 6-2, 190-pounds with incredible athletic ability, there is not much Lawrence cannot accomplish on the football field. He had Florida at the top of his list before this past weekend's trip to Gainesville. Where do the stand now?

T.J. Lawrence profile

Watching as the game unfolded this past weekend what was going through your mind?

"It was pretty awesome. The fact that they had over 500 yards of total offense was amazing. They throw many deep balls, and I like the deep ball. I am thinking that this is the kind of offense that I could play in, but it is early in the recruiting process."

What was the atmosphere like inside the stadium?

"It was crazy. I mean it was pretty incredible with the electricity inside the stadium. The game was cool and I had a chance to talk to Coach Meyer and Coach Gonzales. They were asking me how I liked the trip and stuff like that, and then we talked about getting me back for an official visit at some point in the future."

Who are the schools that you have at the top of your list?

"Florida, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and Boise State are my top teams in that order. I am not sure where I will go next, but I need to sit down with my parents and get all that stuff worked out."
