The Florida Gators will honor Wilber Marshall on Saturday during Florida's matchup with Miami. Marshall played for the Gators from 1980-83.

Marshall was inducted into UF's Ring of Honor two years ago - one of only five players to receive the honor. He was named to the first team All-America twice during his Gator career and held single season records for sacks with 11 and tackles for a loss with 16. When he graduated, he was the all-time leader in sacks and still holds the school record for tackles for a loss with 58

He is also the only Gator to be named as a first team All-SEC pick three different times.

Wilber's appearance is part of a nation-wide event where National College Football Hall of Fame inductees make on-campus appearances. The university will then display a plaque in his honor. Wilber will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in December. Wilber joins fellow Gators Emmitt Smith, Steve Spurrier, Dale Van Sickel and Jack Youngblood who have already been inducted.
