The Florida Gators ended the 23 year winning drought to the Miami Hurricanes with a 26-3 win on Saturday night in The Swamp. A record crowd of 90,833 witnessed the Gator offense put on a fourth quarter show, scoring 17 points in the final 15 minutes.

Florida 9, Miami 3
Scoring Play:
Jeff Demps

Clock:
0:47
Drive Summary:
A personal foul penalty on third down backed the Canes to their own 10-yard line, causing Bosher to punt from the end zone. The Gators went after it, and Demps got it, but Florida couldn’t cover it for a touchdown. It was the first safety for Florida since Oct. 7, 2006 against LSU.

The play was ruled incomplete on the field, but after further review, it was ruled that the ground caused the ball to jar loose. After the Canes were called for pass interference in the end zone, Harvin scored on third down from the 2.
