Thompson Eager to Contribute

Redshirt freshman wide receiver Deonte Thompson had been waiting more than a year to work his way into the Florida offense. After grabbing two catches for 28 yards against Miami, the receiver from Belle Glade is hungry for more.

Deonte Thompson took a redshirt last season despite being ready to play for most of the season. The payoff is supposed to be a bigger and more active role in the Gator offense this year.
